Malfunctioning "personal entertainment" system on American Airlines flight 172 from JFK to Brussels, May 10, 2008. The first photo is at regular exposure, the second one is over-exposed to show where all of the screens are. The third photo is a zoomed shot of the "safe mode" status on the malfunctioning system, which was being used by somebody in business class. Hopefully these systems are not part of the aircraft's computerized flight control network. (Submitted by Swa)
A Windows screen saver, 5:01 pm Friday April 4 2008. Here's what the submitter said: "This is my windows xp theme. I hate windows and because of the stupid software writers who think they get more customers when they make their software for only one operating system, I have to use windows. I thought I would send this to you because alot of people think its funny." Yep, we think it's funny alright. Thanks "bradj"! By the way, that little red shield in the lower right corner is your computer's way of telling you that it needs attention. But seeing that your LAN connection is kaput it probably doesn't matter.)
